"Not as flexible as I thought it’d be"
I don’t know, I expected this to work with more of my setups, but it really doesn’t. Like, half the time I’m trying to use it, it just doesn’t fit the way I need it to, which gets frustrating. It’s not totally useless, but yeah… definitely not as versatile as I was hoping

"I was really hoping this would feel more..."
I was really hoping this would feel more solid, but the grip just doesn’t inspire any confidence. It slips a little and the mount never feels like it’s fully locked in place, so I don’t feel comfortable putting my camera on it. Maybe it would be fine for something super lightweight, but for my setup it feels too risky and kind of cheaply made. Disappointed overall, and I wouldn’t buy it again.

"Fell apart sooner than I expected"
I picked up a small Joby tripod thinking it would be sturdier, but after just a couple weeks one of the legs started getting loose. The plastic feels kind of cheap, and now the joints don’t really hold my phone steady anymore. For the price, I expected it to be more like... I don’t know, just better made. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Tried using it with my phone, but felt wobbly and didn’t really trust it to stay standing. Wouldn’t be my pick if you need something stable.

I thought this would work since the clamp said it was universal, but my Pixel keeps slipping out no matter how I adjust it. It’s really frustrating because I was hoping for something simple and reliable, and instead I’m worried my phone is going to fall.

"I went on joby.com just trying..."
I went on joby.com just trying to find a tripod mount, thinking it would be a quick little mission, but somehow it turned into a whole saga. The menus weren’t super clear, so I ended up clicking around way more than I expected, feeling like I was wandering through a maze just to find one simple thing.

Some of the product pages looked nice, but the details felt a bit scattered, and the filters didn’t really save me from the chaos. I did eventually find what I needed, thankfully, but it took longer than it should have and left me feeling oddly exhausted for a basic shopping trip.

"Really not portable"
This thing is way too bulky to carry around. I was expecting something easier to take with me, but it’s just not convenient at all.

"Fine, but maybe not worth the price"
I bought a JOBY tripod and it does the job, so I don’t want to sound too harsh. Maybe I was just expecting too much because of the price, but I thought it would feel a bit sturdier. After using it for a while, the legs seem a little loose, though maybe that’s just normal wear. I’ve had cheaper tripods that did almost the same thing. It’s not bad at all, I just keep wondering if it was really worth what I paid.

"I ordered from JOBY and, wow, the..."
I ordered from JOBY and, wow, the delivery experience was something special, if by special we mean watching tracking information do absolutely nothing for days. My package just sat in the same status like it had found inner peace and decided not to move.
It finally showed up much later than expected, and customer service didn’t really clear anything up when I asked. So yes, technically I did receive my order, which was nice, but I don’t think I’ll be ordering direct again anytime soon.

"I bought this thinking the warranty would give..."
I bought this thinking the warranty would give me some peace of mind, but when I actually needed help, it was frustrating. I reached out on a Monday and didn’t hear back for days. By the end of the week, I was still getting passed from one person to another with no clear answer. After a couple weeks of back-and-forth, it felt like the warranty wasn’t worth much at all
